Nokia C1 images leaked online
NEW DELHI: It's been more than a month since Nokia confirmed its return to the smartphone market and images of a devices alleged to be its first smartphone have already leaked online.

As per images featured on Chinese website cnmo, the Nokia C1 smartphone comes with a unibody design, thin display margins and curved edges.

According to another source quoted on the website, Nokia C1 smartphone is expected to feature a 5-inch full-HD 1080p screen and run the upcoming Android version 6.0 Marshmallow. It is also said to be powered by an Intel Atom processor.

Nokia, once the world's biggest maker of mobile phones, plans to start designing and licensing handsets again once an agreement with partner Microsoft allows it to in 2016, its chief executive told Germany's Manager Magazin in June.

Finland's Nokia sold its phone business to Microsoft in 2014 after years of declining sales as it failed to keep up with innovations led by Apple's iPhone.

But months later it launched a new brand-licensed tablet computer, produced under license by Taiwanese contract manufacturer Foxconn, with an intention to follow up with more devices.
