HTC Desire 626G+ launched in India at Rs 16,900NEW DELHI: Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has launched yet-another mid-range smartphone, named Desire 626G+, in the Indian market.

Priced at Rs 16,900, this smartphone will compete against devices like Moto G (Gen 2), Microsoft Lumia 640XL, Samsung Galaxy E7, Xiaomi Mi 4 (16GB), Huawei Honor 6, Lenovo Vibe X2 and Asus Zenfone 6, along with its own sibling HTC Desire 816G.

The all-new HTC Desire 626G+ has a 5-inch HD screen and Android-based propreitary Sense UI. The smartphone packs a 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 1GB RAM under the hood and comes with 8GB built-in storage and microSD card support up to 32GB.

The rear camera of Desire 626G+ has 13MP resolution, while the front camera takes selfies at 5MP. The latest HTC smartphone has dual-sim capability and has connectivity options like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0. The smartphone comes in blue and white colours, and has a rather small 2,000mAh battery.
