One year programme to be introduced in manufacturing sector: ISB

Indian School of Business (ISB) is planning to launch a one-year programme in manufacturing & operations management in may. Going in line with the â??Make in Indiaâ?? campaign launched by the Modi government, this certificate in the Programme in Manufacturing and Operations Management (CPMOM) programme will help working professionals to get a better understanding of the manufacturing sector and opportunities offered worldwide.
As a not-for-profit organisation, ISB, one of leading B-schools of India and has campuses in Mohali and Hyderabad, and is known for coming up with distinctive programmes that focus on technology in commerce, emerging markets, entrepreneurship, and business management in todayâ??s world. â??This programme is our way to contribute to the â??Make in Indiaâ?? call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The new programme we are going to launch will bring best global practices in the manufacturing and infrastructure sector to India,â?? Pradeep Singh, Deputy Dean of ISB and CEO of the Mohali Campus stated.
The new certificate programme is a joint initiative of the centre for executive education at ISB and the Munjal Institute of Global Manufacturing. Ashok Mittal, Faculty Director for CPMOM said in a statement, â??Meant for entrepreneurs running small and medium enterprises and mid-level professionals, CPMOM has six modules that provide complete picture of the manufacturing sector to students and prepare them for challenges ahead.
