Sunset Overdrive Xbox One Exclusive May Come To PC, But Not Now

The big debate now is whether Xbox One really has any exclusives or not.
Sony is really strict about their exclusives and we can never expect The Last of Us to launch on PC ever. However, the same cannot be said about Microsoft, because computers are dominated by their operating systems and sometimes titles can make more money when they launch on an entirely new platform at a later date. Sunset Overdrive, the most boasted exclusive on the platform may get a PC release but it is envisaged in the near future, according to the developer.
Unconfirmed PC Version
Insomniac Games, the developers of the colorful and agile Sunset Overdrive for Xbox One has no plans to bring the title to PC anytime now. But, the good part is that they never denied the fact that it could witness a release on the Windows platform, sometime in the future. In a recent interview, the marketing lead of the development studio, James Stevenson said, “We will see. I really don’t know what the future holds. We often get questions related to bringing the game on PC but right now we don’t have any plans to release such a version. At the moment, we are really busy and working hard to bring the Xbox One version out. Post launch, things could change but we don’t have any plans as of now. We aren’t planning a PC version or anything close to that.”
Exclusive, They Say So
He should definitely be rewarded for delivering the most possible answer ever for a simple question. We know that developers are interested in bringing their titles, especially if it has the potential to make it big, in the multiplayer scenario. Even though, the hugely marketed Activision and Bungie’s Destiny which is a console exclusive now, didn’t deny that they want to be on the PC platform, being a first person shooter and a game made on such a huge scale, it’s not surprising that they want it to reach a wide group of audience.
Similarly, Sunset Overdrive by Insomniac Games may find a great spot on PC as well. Earlier, Dead Rising 3 made its way and RYSE Son of Rome, another Xbox One exclusive is getting ready to debut on Windows platform this fall. You will be able to purchase Sunset Overdrive on October 28 and the company has also announced an exclusive hardware bundle with a white console as well as the game for $399.
