Alia Bhatt joins internet bullies trolling her online

After two years and four films, Alia Bhatt is going the family way. The young actress will be seen in a comedy with papa Mahesh Bhatt, mom Soni Razdan and elder sister Shaheen Bhatt. A popular gang of standup comedians - Rohan Joshi, Tanmay Bhatt, Gursimran Khamba, Ashish Shakya - roped in the Bhatt family for a sketch. Alia's mentor, Karan Johar, is also making a surprise entry in the video by Shakun Batra who had previously directed 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' for KJo's banner.

Confirming the same, an excited Shakun told Mirror, "It's something I haven't thing I haven't attempted before. I gave it a shot after these guys approached me. We filmed it quickly over the weekend and it is hilarious."

Although Shakun remains tight-lipped about the details, Mirror has learnt that in the video, Alia gangs up with the internet bullies trolling her online, and sportingly joins in the parody. Despite featuring the Bollywood bigwigs, it's a "zero budget" project. "It's on the lines of a Saturday Night Live sketch and revolves around Alia's life with Bhatt saab, Soni and Karan playing themselves. Karan is a witty guy and came up with some really clever repartee," informed Shakun.

Added Mahesh Bhatt, "It's the first time the family has come together.Alia has used all the bricks hurled at her and created this marvel. She is not in awe of her own self. She demolishes herself without batting an eyelid."

Currently in the post-production stage, the video is likely to premiere online this week.
