How to root Samsung Galaxy Fame in 7 easy steps

  • Charge your phone to a decent level (anything over 50% should be good enough). You won't want your phone to die down during the rooting procedure.

How to Root Samsung Galaxy Fame:

  1. Download Samsung USB Drivers and install them on your Windows PC.
  2. Download and extract it to a folder of your choice.
  3. Connect your Galaxy Fame to the PC using USB cable.
  4. Run the run.bat file in the folder. Follow the instructions in the command window that appears.
  5. If the drivers have been installed correctly, your phone will reboot now.
  6. On reboot, an app named Superuser should appear in your app drawer. If you don't see any such app, install it from the play store and open it and install the su binaries, if prompted to do so.
