Beauty and hair indulgences are the part of our routine. Our spa and salon visits are needless to say essential, to match certain lifestyles. But, post your beauty and hair treatments, certain basic steps are to be taken care: 

1. After waxing, avoid applying soap on your skin for atleast 12 hours. Also, don't exfoliate or go for a de-tanning treatment post it. 

2. Similarly, after de-tanning (this is one treatment much in demand in summers) one shouldn't exfoliate or use soap the skin. Also, it is very important to cover the treated are to avoid its exposure to sunlight for 12-24 hours. 

3. Facials are essential but don't use face-wash for 24 hours as the facial products are working on your skin. Using face-wash will wash off the products. 

4. Post manicure and pedicure, it is recommended to cover feet and hand. It is very important because the last application in these treatments are massage creams and if one doesn't cover it — a dust layer is likely to spoil the skin. 

5. After indulging into a hair spa or keratin treatment, do not wash your hair for 48 hours because the products used in these sessions are actively working on your tresses for this time frame. 

6. Threading is one of the important part of beauty basics. It is important to apply moisturizer or some cooling-gel on the part of skin where threading is done. This is essential otherwise the skin may become red and swollen and in case of sensitive skin, rashes may occur too.
