Mumbai bat; Simmons, Harbhajan included

Mumbai Indians' quest to earn their first points of the season received a major boost as Harbhajan Singh returned to the line-up for the high-profile clash against Chennai Super Kings in Mumbai. The toss also went their way and Rohit Sharma opted to bat at the Wankhede Stadium.

Harbhajan, who had smashed Mumbai Indians' fastest fifty against Kings XI Punjab, had missed the game against Rajasthan Royals due to a sore neck. His return forced Shreyas Gopal out of the side. Mumbai also made two more changes - Ambati Rayudu replaced Unmukt Chand, while Lendl Simmons was given his first game of the season, following Aaron Finch's injury.

Super Kings, on the other hand, retained the same side that had helped them maintain a clean slate in their first two games at home.

Mumbai Indians: 1 Parthiv Patel (wk), 2 Lendl Simmons, 3 Rohit Sharma (capt), 4 Ambati Rayudu, 5 Corey Anderson, 6 Kieron Pollard, 7 Harbhajan Singh, 8 J Suchith, 9 Vinay Kumar, 10 Pawan Suyal, 11 Lasith Malinga.

Chennai Super Kings: 1 Dwayne Smith, 2 Brendon McCullum, 3 Suresh Raina, 4 Faf du Plessis, 5 MS Dhoni (wk, capt), 6 Ravindra Jadeja, 7 Dwayne Bravo, 8 R Ashwin, 9 Mohit Sharma, 10 Ishwar Pandey, 11 Ashish Nehra.
