Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Gets A “Behind the Scenes” Trailer

We all know that the Call of Duty franchise is well known for its excellent narration and presentation.
The game has been incredibly good ever since the first iteration which showed stuff like D-Day among others with compelling characters. The experience was further sophisticated and led to the most successful trilogy, Modern Warfare. Characters like Price and Soap are now part of the entire gaming community which led to the immense success of the game. The same cannot be said about Black Ops or Ghosts because they were ordinary military shooters. Now that Sledgehammer games, the people behind Modern Warfare, are back, we can expect Call of Duty Advanced Warfare to come out with a compelling storyline and memorable characters. The studio has released a video that narrates the process of building the storyline and how the developers intend to add a touch of realism to it.

The Storytelling Style
The developers at Sledgehammer games had been working on the story for three years and have put in a lot of effort to make sure it is authentic. As with the norms, the team has closely worked with real life military personnel. They have obtained their authentic sources including uniforms and daily routines from Seal teams, advanced military divisions among others. Apart from them all, Sledgehammer has spent ample time with experts who are actually developing weapons and military strategies for the feature. Speaking in the video, the head of the studio added that the experts they worked with are people who are responsible for imagining how the world will look like in 40 years. All the weapons in the game and the military suits had been designed based on the inputs provided by these experts.
Motion Capture
Most AAA titles use motion capture technology to bring a touch of realism to the games. The industry has evolved in all areas in the past decade. Call of Duty Advanced Warfare looks forward to push it to its limits by hiring movie experts who work on capturing motions for animation films. Besides, real voices from actors have been used this time around, especially when someone like Kevin Spacey is on board. The House of Cards protagonist has gained immense popularity and his lead role in the game will definitely be a milestone for the industry because such actors combined with an interesting plot paves way for compelling story telling experience. For the first time, Call of Duty has also adopted a single player campaign, which purely focuses on one individual rather than multiple military personnel. This, the game developers believe, will allow players to invest in the character and enjoy the storyline from a first person, immersive perspective.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is scheduled to launch this fall on Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. A detailed game play trailer was shown during E3 2014 which received rave reviews and it is expected to be a hit because of the ardent efforts that the team has put into it.
